About the port

More than a port

We develop and sell port-related terminal services. But we strive to be more than a traditional port. We can follow our customers all the way from start to finish, and offer total solutions in the transport chain.

Infrastructure

The world begins in Oxelösund

The Port of Oxelösund has a uniquely advantageous geographical location that promotes efficient, fast and environment-friendly transport operations. We are right next to the E4 motorway on the Stockholm-Helsingborg section, as well as highway 53 towards Eskilstuna. A connecting railway track runs all the way down to the quayside, and Stockholm Skavsta Airport is only 20 minutes away.

Add to this an approach to the port from the sea that only takes one hour, and all in all you have a location that’s very hard to beat!

Berths, lengths and depths

Few ports in the Baltic can receive big vessels. We can. The short approach means safe navigation, time saved and lower costs. The Port of Oxelösund is by the open sea, free of ice all year round. This makes us an environmentally safe choice for flows of goods to and from Central Sweden or in transit on the Baltic sea.
