Fairway recommendations  

The size of incoming vessels to the port is limited by the Swedish Maritime Inspection Administration’s “Recommendations regarding calling in to the Port of Oxelösund”  

 

In practice this means oil tankers of 120,000 DWT at quay11. Pan Max vessels, 75,000 DWT at quay9,5 and 10. Vessels for regional traffic up to 10,000 DWT and partly loaded vessels med 50,000 DWT at quays 3-8.
