PK452 – Victoria

When we wanted to order another crane the choice was simple - a sister crane to PK451 Petronella would be positive in many ways.

Our latest crane which was ordered in June 2008 was released to us from the German supplier, Kirow Ardelt,
on the 18th of August 2010. The crane was erected on
site here in Oxelösund during the spring and early summer - a job which was carried out almost un-noticed without disturbing our normal activities.

The crane is an improved copy of the slewing crane supplied by Kirow Ardelt in 2006. All the maintenance and repair parts are the same for both cranes even when the eleven changes that affect the safety and operational availability are taken into account. The drivers’ cabs are equipped identically so as to reduce the risk for wrong manoeuvres. With the accessibility and experience gained from the first crane we can expect to give our customers even better service.

Both cranes are equipped to handle scrap metal, wood chips, steel ingots, coils and containers. With two 45ton cranes plus a 10ton mobile crane we are now equipped to meet our customers’ demands for efficient cargo handling.
