Environmental work together with the working
environment, risk and work on safety are an integrated part of our activities.
Information on environmental issues in general and
environmental work in the port particularly shall be given to all employees and
we will encourage them to be actively involved in environmental issues.
Laws and other regulated demands are a minimum demand.
We will discharge the duties of the environmental authority we are entrusted with wisely.
When purchasing goods or services we shall actively
demand products which during the making, using and destroying or re-cycling of
minimise the effect on the environment.
We strive to use our resources efficiently, eg machines
and equipment so the energy used and emissions released continually reduce.
Vessels to Oxelösund are mainly cross-border and are
governed by international rules. We shall as long as it is commercially viable
and by varying means promote the admittance of environmental-friendly vessels.
