Oil
The Port of Oxelösund owns large underground storage caverns for the storing of heavy fueloil. Within the port area, 40 metres under sea level there are seven caverns with a total storage capacity of 1 million m³ heavy oil. We have been the sole owners since 2006 which gives us the opportunity to develop the facility further.
The oil terminal is equipped with two
marine loading arms and can accept vessels up to 250m in length. At the end of the quay there is a shore tank of 9,000m³ approx with a separate piping system.
