SSAB Svenskt Stål AB has a
steel terminal in Oxelösund with manpower provided by The Port of Oxelösund. From here steel coils/rolled steel and steel plate is loaded for shipping from the production plants in Oxelösund and Borlänge in the middle of Sweden.
The quay is equipped with two slewing cranes of 32 tons each and a container crane with a capacity of 45 tons. An indoor terminal for rolled steel is at the quay’s extension as well as a de-humidified terminal for steel coils situated at the end of the quay.
