Purchase and amalgamation of Oxelölager AB, 2007
The storage caverns for heavy oil taken over with the purchase of Oxelölager AB. Oxelölager AB will be amalgamated with the Port of Oxelösund. As sole owner we can now develop this activity which is an important resource in the flow of Russian oil exports.

Demolition of warehouse and cranes, 2007
The company is growing and activities on the quay need more manouvering room. The Danish company H J Hansen were assigned the job of demolishing warehouse 1 on the quayside as well as two cranes a stacker for iron ore and the removal of old electricity poles.
New shipping system for steel plate export, 2007
The Port of Oxelösund has undertaken the handling of SSAB Svenskt Stål AB (Swedish Steel) steel plate export to the USA. To make the process efficient a shipping system for storing, loading plans, checking and document handling based on the barcode system has been installed.
New mobile crane for scrapmetal handling, 2007
Scan Balt Crane have delivered a used Sennebogen 835 for handling scrap metal. The crane is supplied with a grab, scoop and magnet.
New container system, 2007
Container traffic demands an efficient and integrated information system. Inport have delivered such a system based on their product Onestopbooking. This product gives us the possibility of direct communication with the trucks in the terminal as well as feeder – and container agents.
New container truck and spreader, 2007
Container traffic has come about in co-operation with Transatlantic European Services, Schenker Air and Seas and SSAB Svenskt Stål this demands relevant equipment. A reachstacker from Linde has doubled the fleet of container trucks and our old Kalmar truck is now held in reserve. PortTrade of Denmark delivered an automatic container spreader from the Dutch company, Smits.

New port crane, Petronella, 2006
The German crane manufacturers, Eberswalde were commissioned to deliver a 45 ton rail multipurpose crane to the Port of Oxelösund. The crane is built to handle cargo with a grab and scoop as well as a container spreader, steel plate spreader and bulk basket. The crane was inaugurated with pomp and ceremony and specially composed music for percussion.
It was given the female name Petronella.
New business system, 2006
At the turn of the year 2005/2006 the basis for the company’s business and finance system changed to Microsofts Axapta. WM-Data also installed the port administration package Flexport. All the company’s system products will be gradually integrated into this core system.
