Consideration throughout the entire chain

We develop sustainably for the environment at large, for the local environment, and for our working environment. This applies to both our business and our operations, and includes our staff as well as technology and equipment. We work in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals – Agenda 2030 – and are certified according to the environmental management system ISO 14001.

The port has an optimal location from both a customer and environmental perspective, with infrastructure that makes the transport chain efficient. Our largest customer is SSAB, with whom we have a close collaboration also on environmental matters. Within our operations, the environment is in focus throughout the entire value chain – from procurement to cargo handling and completed business. The environmental permits we hold regulate the level of environmental impact our operations may have, and we continuously monitor air quality, noise levels, and stormwater emissions in accordance with established programs.
