Services
We manage the entire flow
Through the port, we handle millions of tons of cargo annually, for transport to and from Sweden or for transit across the Baltic Sea. Here we develop and provide port-related terminal services, with the ambition to be more than just a port. As a service company, we support our customers throughout the entire logistics chain.
Our offer
We can manage all or parts of our customers’ cargo flows, both at sea and on land. Thanks to our logistical advantages, extensive experience, and broad network of shipping companies, freight forwarders, and haulers, we can offer tailored transport solutions designed around each customer’s needs and challenges.
Our services
Bulk and general cargo in ocean-going vessels
Dry bulk in large vessels is the core of our operations. The port’s depth allows us to accommodate the Baltic Sea’s largest ships, with a maximum size of 250 x 45 meters. Transshipment from oceangoing vessels to smaller ice-class vessels is possible via quay, conveyor belts, or ship-to-ship.
Bulk and general cargo for short sea shipping
We also have extensive capacity for handling dry bulk in smaller tonnage. This includes two 45-ton link cranes equipped to handle all types of cargo.
Liquid bulk
In our underground rock cavern facility, located 40 meters below sea level, we can store oil and bio-oil in a space of one million cubic meters. The oil quay accommodates vessels up to 250 meters and is well equipped for both loading and unloading.
Containers
We offer both stuffing and stripping of containers as well as terminal handling of cargo.
RoRo traffic
Our RoRo terminal is equipped with large storage areas, rail tracks for transshipment, a fixed RoRo ramp, and equipment for efficient vessel handling.
Depots, warehouses and rental facilities
The port has well-developed storage areas, warehouses, and facilities for efficient loading and unloading. It also has direct connections to both railway and motorway.
Production services
We provide complete production services for vessel loading and unloading and have the expertise and capacity to manage our customers’ operations.
New in the port
Looking ahead, we are planning to build a terminal for liquefied natural gas (LNG) in the port. Our subsidiary Oxgas AB has received approval for a terminal with a storage capacity of up to 30,000 cubic meters of gas. Today, LNG is a better alternative fuel than coal and oil and is increasingly used in Baltic Sea traffic. In the future, it will be replaced by liquefied biogas (LBG) as availability increases.
