We need your consent

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) has been in effect as law in all EU member states since May 25, 2018. Therefore, we need your consent to continue sending our newsletter to your email address. If you agree, we will store your email address in our records.

You can withdraw your consent at any time. If you choose to withdraw your consent, we will remove your personal data from our records and mailing lists. You will then no longer receive our newsletters.

How your personal data is processed after consent

Oxelösunds Hamn AB (Oxhamn) is the data controller for the personal data you have provided.

The personal data you have provided is necessary for Oxhamn to send you the newsletter.

Within Oxhamn, your personal data is handled by the Marketing Department.

Your personal data will be stored and used solely for the purpose of sending newsletters. You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time upon request.

Your rights

Access to personal data

You have the right to obtain confirmation from Oxhamn as to whether or not personal data concerning you is being processed, and, if so, to access that data and certain related information (Article 15 of the GDPR).

Rectification

You have the right to have inaccurate personal data concerning you corrected by Oxhamn without undue delay. You also have the right to have incomplete personal data completed, taking into account the purposes of the processing.

Erasure (“right to be forgotten”)

You have the right to have your personal data erased in certain circumstances. Your data must be deleted in the following cases:

  • If the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
  • If the processing is based on your consent and you withdraw that consent.
  • If the personal data has been processed unlawfully.

Restriction of processing

You have the right, in certain cases, to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted. Restriction means that the data is marked so that it may only be processed for specific, limited purposes in the future. This right applies, for example, if you believe the data is incorrect and have requested rectification. In such cases, you may request that the processing be restricted while the accuracy of the data is being verified.

Right to object to processing

You have the right, in certain cases, to object to Oxhamn’s processing of your personal data. This right applies when data is processed to perform a task carried out in the public interest, in the exercise of official authority, or based on a legitimate interest assessment.

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

If you believe that Oxhamn is processing your personal data in violation of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten).
